To create a vibrant thrift-store café and inclusive arts center where adults with disabilities learn life skills, gain meaningful employment, and express themselves through music, art, and community! all in a safe, celebratory space.
A flagship location by 2028, employing 30+ adults with disabilities, hosting 150+ free workshops yearly, and generating sustainable revenue through thrift sales and fair-trade coffee, all reinvested into programs.

Founder & Executive Director
Deb has been an educator and advocate since 1988. She holds a Bachelor of Music, a Master’s in Teaching and Learning, and an Education Specialist Credential.
For over three decades she has specialized in inclusive classrooms, designing curricula that blend arts with practical life skills for students with disabilities. She once directed a full student musical where kids who had never spoken a line on stage ended the night taking curtain calls to a standing ovation.
As a mother, professional musician, and lifelong teacher, Deb saw a gap: adults with disabilities often leave school without a clear path to jobs or creative outlets. IAEF is her answer—a place where her students (and thousands more) can thrive long after graduation: pouring lattes, selling art, headlining open-mic nights, and cashing real paychecks.

Co-Founder | Songwriter | Logo Guy
Hi, I’m Ellio—21, NYC and LA based, and the girl who turns pop hits into study anthems. I wrote the Special Beans jingle, edited and helped film the Miller CTC commercial, and doodled IAEF’s first logo on a coffee-shop napkin. When I’m not remixing pop songs into biology lessons, I’m the one begging Mom for one more thrift-store treasure or sneaking extra sprinkles on the café menu.
Why I’m here: So every adult with a disability gets to create, earn, and belong—no exceptions.
